The Essentials edition of this technology does not utilize a database, as labels created by this technology are saved to the user`s local drive. The scope of this entry is for both editions. The Pro edition has a licensing fee associated with it and includes additional database connectivity and Radio-Frequency Identification (RFID) capabilities. The Essentials edition does not have a licensing fee associated with it and includes all the base functionality of the software. ZebraDesigner is offered in Essentials and Pro editions. This product includes a What You See Is What You Get (WYSIWYG) label designer interface for creating and printing barcode labels and specific printer configuration and diagnostic utilities. ZebraDesigner is a label design software that offers a barcode printing solution for users of Zebra branded label printers.
